Dual Enrollment is a program that allows high school students the opportunity to enhance and advance their education by enrolling in colllege courses, while still in high school. Students will be able to experience college-level courses, discuss college and career options, and shorten the time required to complete a college degree. Trona High School students have the opportunity to earn high school and college credit at the same time.
Students are able to take college courses at no cost to them. Books are also provided by Trona Joint Unified school District. Students can begin taking college courses while still in high school. These courses will roll over to their college transcripts and give them a head start towards their college graduation. This reduces the amount that they would have to pay for college. Students feel more confident about their ability to complete a college course. THS Teachers are in the classroom to help them stay organized and on track.
Classes are offered to 9-12TH grade students.
