Welcome from the Principal

Dear Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Trona High School. I am honored to join a school with such a rich tradition of pride, resilience, and community. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and outstanding students as we continue to build a school where every student is known, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential.

One of the greatest strengths of Trona High School is the close-knit relationships that exist among our students, staff, families, and community. As a small 7–12 campus, we have a unique opportunity to know every student by name, understand their individual strengths and goals, and provide the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

As your principal, my commitment is to foster a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where all students are encouraged to strive for excellence. I believe in maintaining high expectations while ensuring that every student has the opportunity to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and prepare for success beyond high school whether through college, career, military service, or technical education.

I also believe that the strongest schools are built through meaningful partnerships with families and the community. I encourage parents and community members to be actively involved in our school, attend events, celebrate our students’ accomplishments, and work alongside us to provide the very best educational experience possible.

Throughout my career, my passion has remained constant: supporting students, empowering educators, and fostering a positive culture where everyone thrives. I am thrilled to return to school leadership and join the Trona community. In a school of our size, every student's story matters, and I look forward to working alongside our dedicated staff, families, and Tornadoes to make this year a success!
