Welcome to Trona High School-Home of the Tornadoes

Welcome Great Friends!! I am Lauretta Eldridge, Class of 1983, and proud to serve as your Principal of Trona High School. As we embark on a new academic year, it is my honor and privilege to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you. Trona High School has a well-established tradition of excellence since opening its doors in 1941. Our faculty and staff remain committed to providing a top-notch comprehensive educational experience for all students. In addition to our rich academic programs, Trona High has several activities including clubs, athletics, electives, guest speakers and field trips. We believe that a well-rounded student creates an optimal high school experience with memories that will last a lifetime.

Trona High takes great pride in our positive school climate and culture, and we encourage you and your students to participate in all activities that we offer. As a whole school community, we have adopted our core values which we refer to as Trona GRIT. We are Goal-oriented learners, Responsible citizens, Independent complex thinkers and Tactical, effective communicators. Our learner outcomes are demonstrated daily by both students, staff and community–together we ensure that Trona High School remains Committed to Excellence!!
